Bee Happy Homes – Becoming a Proverbs 31 Woman

About

What in the world would compel me to write a blog, other than my husband’s prodding?

Well, I am a stay at home, homeschooling Mom of five, including my seven year old daughter, five year old son, three year old twin boys and a newborn baby girl.  I have a dear, precious, wonderful husband, who loves the Lord, his family, and others.  Together we have a ministry to orphans in India named King of kings Orphan Reach Evangelism, or K.O.R.E.   In the midst of life’s business and challenges, I  hold a deep desire to *learn and grow in God’s way of being an excellent wife and mom, according to His Word the Bible, and *to share what I learn with others, as well as *to learn from other women on the same mission All this is with Proverbs 31 as a focal piece.  And since I have only two hands, 24 hours a day, one vehicle for our family, and a blessed though tight one-income teacher budget, it seemed this was a good step that would not overwhelm me or get our family out of balance.  Besides, I can consider it a personal journal.  I hope you read through the pages expounding on Proverbs 31, as well as the struggles and triumphs contained in my personal blog, and find something that helps you grow in your walk with the Lord and role as a homemaker.  And maybe you’ll take the time to share the wisdom you’ve gained with me, too.

An excellent wife, who can find?  For her worth is far above jewels.  Proverbs 31:10

I’d love for you to contact me.  Just write me, Tami Watts (maiden name -  Tami Fine)  @  jeffandtami@truevine.net

Oh, and about the title of my blog — I really felt like God gave that to me.  This made me laugh because of my personal struggle to have a happy home.  And I love the Bible character of Deborah, who I believe to be a Proverbs 31 woman.  Her name means bee, from it’s systematic, orderly motion.
